School Philosophy
At Tung Der High School we believe that through the use of various methods of assessment we can strengthen our teaching and provide a framework for learning. This is an ongoing process that involves the teachers and students, and provides information to parents and the administration allowing all to continually reflect on, revise, refine and celebrate performance.
Tung Der High School acknowledges the relationship between teaching, learning and assessments. It is important to use a wide range of formative and summative assessment strategies, and approaches to cater to students' different learning needs and styles to ensure that they are allowed to express themselves and feel valued. Students are encouraged to reflect on and assess their learning to enable them to take responsibility for their education.
Assessments are considered informative opportunities for both the teachers and the students. Giving feedback to students on their performance is a crucial step. It should be delivered and accepted constructively, pointing out strengths and proposing strategies to overcome emerging weaknesses. Clear communication of assessment principles and criteria is essential for students' academic and personal growth. Therefore, teachers set up clear objectives and criteria for each assessment so the students can clearly understand what is expected of them.
Accurate and easily accessible recording of assessment outcomes fosters open and transparent communication between the school, families, students, and teachers. Families are regularly informed about their children’s progress and given suggestions on how to support them to help them reach their full potential.
Our students are aware of the purpose and criteria for success in assessment and our teachers facilitate learning experiences designed to enable the students to meet the assessment requirements. When needed, assessment tasks are modified to meet the diverse linguistic, cultural, and learning needs of our students while at the same time maintaining consistent standards of excellence.
國際部課程教育計畫
為達到與國際接軌,提供學生未來在世界各國升學與就業的徑路與機會,將向國際文憑組織(International Baccalaureate Organization)申請認證,進而實施國際文憑課程,在第二教育階段(國中與高中階段)實施六年一貫的 MYP(七至十年級)與 DP(十一至十二年級),在 MYP 的八大學科與 DP 的核心科目加上六大學科組的課程結構下中,實施跨領域與多學科的課程,實施跨領域協作議題導向的專題探究課程,提升學生問題解決能力、學習運用跨領域能力理解分析問題,落實素養導向課程理念,強化學生發展探究議題的多元能力,以培養學生國際視野與人文關懷。

STEP 1: STUDENTS & PARENTS INTERVIEW
After an initial consultation with the students' parents, the following process will be followed.

STEP 2: SUBMIT APPLICATION AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS

STEP 3: ADMIN DEPAREMENT REVIEW
After receiving these documents, the Admissions Office will complete a review to determine whether student interview can be offered.
步驟三: 文件審核
招生組將審核家長提交的申請文件,以判定是否合適安排家長及學生進行面試。
同德國際部將聯絡符合資格的學生,並安排下一階段的面試。若申請學生未能通過此階段審核,原因可能包括成績未達標準或語言能力不足等,學校將另行通知。
STEP 4: ACCEPTANCE DECISION
After the interview and a review of the final documents, an acceptance decision will be made.
If an applicant is not accepted at this stage, their family will be officially notified by telephone.
After a written formal acceptance is received, all tuition and fees must be paid by the designated due date in order to reserve a seat. Failure to meet the deadline will result in forfeiture of the student’s enrollment and placement on the waiting list.
Once an applicant is accepted, the Student Medical Information and Student Enrollment Information are required to be completed by a parent or guardian as a condition of enrollment.
步驟四: 錄取結果
同德國際部將依據面試以及備審資料來評估申請學生的資格;未通過審核的學生將收到學校的電話通知。
一旦收到正式的錄取通知,請在指定的繳費期限內完成繳費程序,以確保自己的錄取名額。逾期未繳費者將失去錄取資格,並可能影響候補名單中的順序。
完成錄取程序後,學生需要提交由其父母或監護人填寫完整的健康資料和入學相關文件。

Yes. We offer a shuttle bus service to certain parts around our campus. The shuttle bus service is available for students starting in Year 1 to Year 12.

IS THERE A UNIFORM OR SPORTSWEAR?
國際部有規定的制服或體育服嗎?
The adherence to the school uniform policy is mandatory for all students.
Additionally, specific attire is designated for various sports and formal events. It is expected that students maintain a tidy and dignified appearance while wearing their uniforms.

We offer lunch services for students. To ensure the safety of children with significant allergies, such as those to dairy, wheat, or nuts, we highly recommend that you notify the school in advance as part of the admission process.

Annually, our admission department furnishes the fee schedule for the upcoming academic year. For further details, please reach out to our admissions staff.
Upon enrollment, the institution will provide you with a payment invoice, inclusive of payment deadlines.
It is recommended to renew registration at the conclusion of each academic year to maintain continuous enrollment.
